I’ve been puzzling over ideas for a trailer for The Lustre and I’m having trouble coming up with something. So here’s what I’ll do. Post your ideas as a reply to this post or to the book page, based on the synopsis and excerpt. I will make the best one into my trailer and the person who posted it will get a free ebook and print copy of The Lustre as soon as it comes out!
If you don’t have an idea but like one you see on the replies, reply your support of your favorite. I’ll count your replies in my decision.

I wrote a new book! I’m just full of ideas this weekend! I’ve compiled all of the information on my blog and organized it into a free ebook guide to self-publishing based on my experiences! Also! Kathryn, my editor for The Disenchanted Pet, has given me a wonderful follow-up edit of my book, which I’ve just uploaded to CreateSpace, Kindle, and Smashwords. I’m sorry, I can’t change your print books, but the ebooks are all updated for free. Most of the edit, though, is word order with some minor changes that don’t much affect the story. Also, I put a period at the end just for you, Donna!
I got some great ideas the other day from Penguin’s author guide to publicity. Reading it has made me glad (again) that I decided to self-publish to start because if I had tried to submit to publishers and was successful, I would lose rights to my book AND be forced to promote my own book just as I am doing now anyway. I can see now why traditional publishing is losing to self-publishing.

I thought about the Wikipedia and actually pulled up the page, but the formatting class you have to go through was too overwhelming for today. There is etiquitte and formatting tricks and a whole scary tutorial about how to do it right. I will, but not today. I have to build up my courage first.
