Amputeddy is now available in Norwegian thanks to Camilla Mehammer Augestad! She contacted me earlier in the year asking about the translation of the book. After a little conversation, she generously offered to translate. There were some personal hurdles for me and formatting issues with new Amazon requirements before getting the books available in print, but I finally managed to get the first one up this week. Two of the translated books are currently available on Smashwords (the third one is pending) and all will soon be available on Kindle too.
Amputeddy Skal Tilbake på Skolen (Norwegian Edition) Paperback
Amputeddy Hjelper En Venn (Norwegian Edition) Kindle Edition

Here is a message from Camilla:
Hei.
Eg heiter Camilla Mehammer Augestad.
Tusen takk Kate, for at eg fekk oversetje bøkene!

Hi!
My name is Camilla Mehammer Augestad.
I come from Kvinnherad, a small place in Norway.
In January 2022, we found out that my husband had to amputate his left leg after 21 years of pain. We had very mixed feelings about this ourselves, and our girl of 6 years took this very badly. We then decided to look for child-friendly information and children’s books that could give her a little comfort and more understanding about what was going to happen. We found nothing about this topic for children in Norwegian.
After much googling, I finally found the Amputeddy books. Cozy, easy-to-read books by Kate Policani and Jean Boelter. I contacted Kate and was allowed to translate the books into Norwegian.
The books can be ordered in book form, for a fee or you can download them and print them for free!
Our girls have become very fond of these nice books. I hope that many can benefit from them in the same way that we have.
Thank you very much, Kate, for allowing me to translate the books.
