Wilding

Wilding is a second book in the ShaZha World of The Disenchanted Pet. I am nearly done and plan to submit it to publishers!

Delcine lives on the Earth in a society that is is ruled by the ShaZha, a hyper-intelligent race of alien beings who rule the planet under the guise of rehabilitating humanity. Not surprisingly, some humans under ShaZha rule are not satisfied with their pretense.
Delcine, a Prodigy, can not submit and become an obedient human. Bitter against her callous treatment by the masters, she lives in torment. Unfortunately, her rebellion provides no relief and her preoccupied captors ignore her due to her small size and innocent appearance.
One day she hears the rumors of a human named Zarah who knows of the world outside the Prodigy community, and even of a society living free of the ShaZha. This discovery spurs Delcine to form a daring plan to go stray. Will she escape from her stifling existence? Will the free world give her everything she hoped for?

    Hello!
I liked your first book ‘The disenchanted pet’ much and in my opinion it was very good written:)
Because of that I wanted to ask whether do you know when your new book ‘Wildling ‘ will be published.
    Greetings from Germany

    • Thank you! I am submitting “Wilding” to traditional publishers instead of publishing it myself online. Because of that, I don’t know when it will be available. If you are interested, I would be willing to send you a “galley” copy before publication in exchange for a review once it is published :). Email me if you would like that. katepolicani@gmail.com
