First, I have to say how much I LOVE my cover art! Heidi Barnett did a fantastic job!
What do you think? Is there anything I can tweak to make it better?

This is beautiful! I love it. When I first looked at it, though, I thought she was holding a cell phone. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re going for.
It looks terrific. Although, it does look like she’s holding a phone to her ear. What is she meant to be holding?
The art work is lovely, but I agree with the other comments in that it isn’t clear what she’s holding. I’m not sure that really matters, though. I think the title lettering could be stronger however, more like the lettering for your name. It looks a little ‘wobbly’. I’d try lining it up straight rather than curved, that may be all it needs.
Kate, I agree with these comments – it’s unclear what she’s holding. Perhaps she isn’t holding anything, and this is simply her posture as she looks down on the magical glass. Whichever, a change is needed.
Also, like Tahlia I believe the title font and positioning should be tweaked.
I think the “what is she holding” question is a good one for book interest. It could also be part of the “cuff” she’s wearing on her wrist.
I’ve been messing with the fonts and positioning trying to make it work. Hmmmmmm.
Kate, brainstorming…
your name first line
first part of title second line
IMAGE
second part of title beneath it
Good idea. I’ll try it!
Kate, another thing I like is the ‘old look’ of the cover’s background.
Haha! I found a royalty-free photo of an actual book. I tweaked the colors with an art program. Worked great!
